GP PRO Offers No-Cost Replacement Dispensers to Schools Hit by “Devious Licks”
In September, the thefts of restroom product dispensers was widely shared on social media. In response, GP PRO offered no-cost replacement paper towel, toilet tissue and soap dispensers to schools impacted by the trend.
At the time, Julie Howard, vice president and general manager of GP PRO’s towel, skin care and air care categories and herself a parent to elementary school-aged children, said, “We want schools that have been affected by this unfortunate trend to know that we have their backs. We are ready and willing to take care of their dispenser issues so they can remain focused on educating our students during these challenging times.”
In a recent update, Howard shared that GP PRO donated a total of 258 dispensers to schools across the country, including 22 towel dispensers, 92 tissue dispensers, and 64 soap dispensers.
Said Howard, “Schools across the country have been through so much over the past 18 months and are doing all they can to provide a safe and healthy learning environment now that students and staff are back to in-person learning. This defacing of school property, particularly property that is so important to health and hygiene, was the last thing they needed to be dealing with. I’m proud to be part of an organization that understands what it means to serve our customers.”
